The Summer of 2021 CBO expanded the brand to include a Collegiate Summer League on Florida's Treasure Coast.
5 teams were established in the inaugural season.
Charles Johnson, a 12 year MLB veteran with 4 Gold Gloves, 2 All-Star Games and 1 World Series ring is the league's namesake.
Charles, who was drafted in the 1st Round twice and got his college degree after his playing days, is an active participant in the league.
He puts on a catching clinic, sits in the dugout for games, mentors players, and brings other MLB alums to the league.
The South Florida Beach Bums took home the Inaugural crown.
Year two of the league saw an increase to 6 teams and a move to the Broward County/Ft. Lauderdale area.
The league also added what is thought to be the only Collegiate Summer team in Bahamas who combined with 4 Players from the Tampa Rays RBI to form a very good team that finished in 3rd place during the regular season.
The South Florida Beach Bums repeated as Champions
Live Broadcast with 2 announcers were added.
The league's finest day may have been the July 9th Futures game in which 24 of the 35 uncommitted players received offers for college.
The league is very international, having players from; Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, Curacao, Aruba, Mexico, Panama, Israel, Netherlands, Venezuela, Hungary, and the US.
